We are pleased to report that from Monday Skukuza’s heritage is open to enjoy free of charge for all South Africans. A Kruger National Park’s representative reported that they will be hosting several events from the 9th – 13th of September to attract our local citizens to visit the park and to further educate our people on conservation. He also reported that they will be visiting underprivileged and communities where people are severely disabled and would be unable to visit the park to ensure that the importance of nature conservation reaches all people irrespective of their circumstances.
Only South African citizens with their green bar coded identification form or children under the age of 16 will get free day entry into the Park during the said week in September. SANparks also mentioned that although they would like as many people as possible to make use of this opportunity they will be sticking to their daily day visitors quota and will work on a first come first serve basis.
Golf Safari SA guests please remember that the closest gate into the Park from Kruger Park Lodge is the Phabeni Gate which is 10 kilometers away from the resort.
