Pearl Valley Golf Course

The golf course at Pearl Valley was designed by the legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus. The course was opened in 2003 and shortly afterwards it was awarded the best new golf course of the year. It currently boasts the award for being the best maintained course in the Western Cape. This is quite evident as can be seen from the images below.

Even the heavy rains and floods did not affect the course significantly. The excellent drainage system quickly and efficiently cleared the pooling water.

The length of the course measured from the championship tees is 6749 m. The distance for the ladies is only 4935 m. An 18 hole round should not take longer than 4 hours and 30 mintues. This includes a 15 minute midway stop.
